To me fair friend you never can be old,
For as you were when first your eye I eyed,
Such seems your beauty still: three winters cold,
Have from the forests shook three summers’ pride,
. . .
Three beauteous springs to yellow autumn turned,
In process of the seasons have I seen,
Three April perfumes in three hot Junes burned,
Since first I saw you fresh which yet are green.
. . .
Ah yet doth beauty like a dial hand,
Steal from his figure, and no pace perceived,
So your sweet hue, which methinks still doth stand
Hath motion, and mine eye may be deceived.
. . .
For fear of which, hear this thou age unbred,
Ere you were born was beauty’s summer dead.
Shakespeare, Sonnet 104
When hot water is added to medicinal herbs, their healing properties are released into the steam and carried to your skin and lungs. Steam opens the skin’s pores, stimulates circulation, helps eliminate toxins, dirt, makeup and other debris & impurities. A relaxing way to nourish, clean and rejuvenate your skin.
This facial steam helps hydrate, moisturize and soften your skin; all while cleansing your pores and sending you into a deeply relaxed state.

Valued in folklore medicine for centuries to soothe fever and headache, Feverfew can help in reducing the appearance of facial redness and skin irritation.
A powerful anti-oxidant, Licorice alleviates redness, swelling, and itching of the skin, and reduces the depth of wrinkles by encouraging the skin to create it’s own strengthening connective tissue.

Legend has it that the Egyptian queen, Cleopatra, ordered the floors of her palace be covered knee deep in rose petals. Drape a towel over your head to form a tent and keep your face about 6-10 inches away from the water. Enjoy this mini-sauna for up to 20 minutes, or as long as tolerated. Follow with a nice splash cool water on your face. Use once or twice a week, as needed. It does wonders for the skin.
